RE: Federal ID Report

In our continuing effort to furnish local government with information to assist with the local management of the CSA program, the Office of Comprehensive Services (OCS) has developed a new Data Set report that we believe will be very useful to you. This report may be accessed by any individual with an active CSA local government reporting ID and password.

The new report is the Federal ID Report and is labeled as such. It is available in the Data Set section on the main local destination screen (for report preparers) or on the fiscal agent main screen. The report provides the following information on children receiving residential treatment, group home services, psychiatric hospitalization, therapeutic foster care and alternative/private special education day services:

• Federal ID (as entered in the data set and linked to the Service Fee Directory)
• Provider Name (if blank, no match found in the Service Fee Directory with the Federal ID number)
• Number of children served (the unduplicated number served)
• Number of services (total number of services provided)
• Expenditures from the data set (actual plus projected for the program year)

By clicking on an individual federal ID number, a listing of the children served by that provider is returned. By clicking on an individual provider, information from the Service Fee Directory will be available and by clicking on the individual child ID, the child data card will populate.

You also should note this report is located on a secure server, so the information is protected. However, should you print or save this report and then forward elsewhere, that protection will be lost. Please ensure you protect the confidential nature of this information.

We hope you take some time to explore this report and let us know if it is indeed useful to your locality.
