Description of Best Practice:
The Franklin County Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) developed Parental Co-Payment Policies and Procedures including a Parental Co-Payment Worksheet for the clear understanding of financial obligations and commitment for the parents and legal guardians of children and youth served by CSA within Franklin County.

What have been the benefits results of the implementation?
Parents and legal guardians are provided written documentation from Franklin County CSA that provides them with co-payment guidelines that are related to foster care, child support, in-home services and the specific percentage of financial obligations based upon the Franklin County CSA Parental Contribution Scale. A signature from the Parent/Legal guardian is required on the form.
