Training/Technical Assistance & Best Practices
Best Practices
The Office of Comprehensive Services is providing an opportunity for localities to submit their CSA "Best Practices" on an ongoing basis. Additionally, localities can access the locality submitted "Best Practices" from the CSA "Best Practices" Support Page.
Review Schedule and Process:
At least four times annually, a localitys "Best Practices" will be spotlighted on the "CSA web page". The CSA Training Advisory Group (TAG), which is composed of state and local CSA stakeholders, will assist in the determination of which locality should be spotlighted.
What is a "Best Practice?":
A "Best Practice" is a process, technique or innovative use of resources that has a proven record of success in demonstrating notable improvement in quality, performance, costs or other measurable factors related to the administration of the CSA. Innovative local government CSA activities that enhance community flexibility in the use of funds, encourage public and private partnerships, increase interagency collaboration and help to identify and intervene early with at-risk children are among areas where best practices may be found.
