The Office of Comprehensive Services welcomes Dawn Howard as our new Technical Assistance Coordinator.

The Office of Comprehensive Services welcomes Dawn Howard as our new Technical Assistance Coordinator. Dawn comes to OCS from the Virginia Department of Social Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement. She served as state liaison for foster care cases handled within the Division. Dawn also provided technical assistance to parents with children being placed in the Virginia Foster Care Program through the Division of Child Support Enforcement. Dawn began her career with the Commonwealth of Virginia at the Division of Licensing Programs assisting with the development of regulatory policies for various child day centers. She was also instrumental in the revision of the Standard Operating Procedures for the Accredited Preschool Program implemented statewide. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and will enter Virginia Commonwealth University’s Master’s Program in Public Administration in the Fall.
